FAQ

My dachshund is recovering from IVDD, can I still work with you?

Unfortunately, at this moment in time, I am not certified in rehabilitation, so I will not be able to work with your dachshund until it has been signed off by either your vet or rehabilitation professional.

As a guildline – recovery time for every dachshund is different, but on average (especially if they have had an operation) by 6 months, they have usually healed a sufficient amount by this point to begin canine fitness.

Yes you can.  I require your vet or rehabilitation team to approve this and can work alongside them. I specialize in canine fitness and gait analysis and will carefully assess their needs to ensure their safety and progress.

Yes! Puppies benefit greatly from early training and fitness. Sessions focus on gentle, age-appropriate exercises that build strength and confidence while ensuring proper development.

Absolutely. While dachshunds are close to my heart, I work with dogs of all breeds and sizes to improve fitness, movement, and overall well-being.

If I notice signs of an underlying condition, I will pause the fitness program and recommend you consult a vet or specialist. I can provide detailed video footage and observations to assist with this.

No special equipment is needed for your first session. I will let you know if any tools or props are helpful as we progress, but most exercises can be done with items you already have at home.

Yes I do for the packages.

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the initial appointment. If they are not, the full session fee will be charged.

However, if I notice signs of pain, discomfort during a package, I will pause the package and recommend you consult a vet or rehabilitation specialist.

If you would like, I can also offer a Dynamic Dog Assessment, to assist with any investigations.  When your dog is ready, your package will still be there for you to complete.
